I purchased a Mitsubishi Pajero 2000 gdi in Dec 2016 on finance. I still owe about 2,000. I only had a 1 year mechanical warranty which ended Dec 2017. I have serviced it regularly, oil changes, wheel alignments. New cambelt, tyres, shocks. Wof Jan 2019. I have recently started feeling a vibration in the front end which only happens between the speeds of 45-60 km/pH. I can stop it by either releasing my foot off the acceleration or by accelerating to just over 60km. Which is a pain as most street limits are 50km around town. I have had it checked by a couple of mechanics in the past 2 weeks who have told me the whole motor/engine is faulty. What do I do? Trade In? New car? Mechanics have suggested I get rid of it asap!!

Hi there,
The GDi engines in the older Mitsubishi's were known to give trouble and be costly to repair should anything go wrong.
It is a bit of a decision whether to sell or fix a defective vehicle, either way you may lose money. If it was me I would look at replacing the vehicle with something that may be more reliable or at least be cheaper to repair.
Either trade-in or Turners may be an option for selling.
