My daughter who is also an AA member has just bought a car from a dealer. She didn't get an AA test done before buying the car. She now says it is making bad noises and she doesn't know what to do. What rights does she have and is the dealer obliged to loan her a car if her car needs fixing?

Your daughter should contact the dealer and offer them an opportunity to remedy the vehicle, they are not obliged to lend her a car legally however you can always request one, the repair should be carried out in a reasonable period of time.
