Hello, I was wondering if it were legal to "decorate" a car with reflective tape, perhaps like racing stripes? I was in an accident recently and would like to make my car more visible, but I'm aware that some countries ban such stickers on private vehicles. Thank you.

You may sticker up your vehicle, but you may fail a wof or be stopped if it significantly dazzles other motorists, (a bit like having mirror tinting overlays on the windows)
You may want to consider some LED daytime running lamps? (spelling edited)
