Hi there, the thing is both I and the other driver(neighbor) were reversing from sideways to the main street to the same direction, that I started moving first then our car bottom hitted. My left car bottom hitted her left car back side(around fuel tank area). I thought it was a 50/50, but she said it was my fault cause she arrived at the main street first. So I wanna know if it is a 50/50, and how should us share the fixing fee? Thanks

Hi there,
In this case both reversing drivers are responsible for not hitting anything as they reverse, so this would most likely be seen as split liability in the eyes of an insurance company.
If both vehicles were moving at the time of impact it may not matter who was first, the responsibility is the same.
