My mates and I have a disagreement and can't find the helpful info online for the answer.
Who has right of way when two lanes merge into one. We have a picture of two car lanes now the left lane is coming to an end with a kerb and such ahead of it and the right lane continues straight. Now there's 2 cars side by side but the car in the left lane is slightly ahead. If it was busy with lots of traffic I'd go with merge like a zip but if it's only the two cars on the road at the time who should give way. I'm stuck in the middle because of a few reasons, one being as the left car is crossing the centre line he would be seen as turning/changing lanes but at the same time im not 100% sure that is the same thing

Hi there,
Merge like a zip is something that works for on-ramps. When two lanes turn into one, we see that the vehicle in the straight ahead lane would not be required to give way, as the other vehicle is changing into the next lane, it has to make sure the way is safe to do so.
