My vehicle was manufactured in 1968, it has no rear seatbelts. Is there a limit on the number of people I am allowed to transport in the backseat legally?

Hi there,
We have not found a rule that states how many passengers can legally occupy a seat where no belts are fitted.
The one thing that could be checked is see how many seating positions were recorded for the vehicle in The Landata records when first registered in NZ.
