My husband has bought me a 2005 Mazda Demio for around town running. The salesman said I should use only 95 grade petrol. Is this correct or can I use 91? The car has done 53000km. Your help would be wonderful. Thanks.

Hi there,
The exact specs for imported vehicles are very hard to obtain, but most modern Japanese imported vehicles can run on 91 or 95 octane fuel without problem.
If you use 91 and find the vehicle does not quite perform as you like, then maybe switch back to 95.
