Forum Fuel and economy New car

I am planning to buy a new car. It would be a hatchback, 4 door, 1600 cc, auto, aircon. It would preferably be a Toyota, Honda or Nissan. Please advise on cheapest to most expensive. What would you recommend?

Why not just look up the prices in "new cars" on Trade Me?
