We are Dunedin Community Transport Trust (DCTT) . We have bought a new van - a 2009 Toyota Hiace Regius. rego HLS 972.
Please could you help me by giving me an idea of fuel and running/maintenance/depreciation costs per km usage.

Hi there,
Our running costs are based on a vehicle within the first 5 years from new, and travelleing 14,000km a year.
Depending on the engine in the Regius.
Diesel 3ltr 83 cents per km total running costs.
Petrol 2ltr 65 cents per km.
Petrol 2.7ltr 80 cents per km.

Thank you very much. That gives me a good idea, though our van is slightly older.
