Hi. I am currently using my own van at work. It is a 1997 Toyota Hiace. My boss is covering my diesel but i was wondering what I should be charging per km for RUC and wear and tear. Will be roughly travelling 5000km in total.

It's always difficult to determine the all-in running cost of a vehicle of this age, due to depreciation (which is the largest component), having been reduced substantially.
The IRD rate for up to 5,000km is 77c per km, however the true running cost of a vehicle such as this is probably no more than about 40c per km, due to its age.
However, agreements between employer/employee are purely a negotiation between the parties, and can be what ever fugure both parties agree upon.
