It essentially is all vehicle running costs divided by the number of kms travelled annually.
To give you a very basic breakdown of the components involved, the costs include:
Fuel
Oil
R&M
Tyres
WoF
Registration
Insurance
Capital outlay (Cost + Interest)
Cost of depreciation

Yes, we carry out this calculation on an annual basis. It is available to you as an AA Member on our website by logging into MYAA. Alternatively, as an AA Member you can request copies to be sent to you via our Motoring Advice line (0800 500 333) or emailing a request to aatech@aa.co.nz , quoting your membership number.
