Hi, can you please give me a fair reimbursement rate an employer should pay a staff member using their Toyota Hilux flatdeck ute at work on a per km basis to cover fuel, RUC & some wear&tear.

I think it's early 1990's diesel. And about 30% of the time it's in 4x4 and towing things, otherwise it's on tarseal travelling between properties. Many thanks!

The AA calculates the running costs for vehicles up to five years of age. For a diesel vehicle with an engine size of 2001cc up to 3000cc the running costs is 81.6 cents/km. You can use the running costs to negotiate a fair reimbursement rate.
