Hiya,
How much would the cost of petrol be per km & running cost be for a 2001 Volkswagon Beetle?

As we've said here previously, we calculate the running costs on a 3 year old vehicle where depreciation is a significant factor. On an older car such as yours, depreciation is much less, so the running cost is lower.
However, the AA's running cost calculation for a 2.0 litre car is 64.2c per km. In reality, due to its age, your car would probably be around 40c per km.
