I have a toyota hi-ace 2ltr campervan 1985 (ex Newmans). I recently travelled 1340kms at a cost of $393.00. Is this normal cost for this type of vehicle.

Assuming this is a petrol engine, at an average cost of say $2.20 per litre, this equates to 13.3L/100km. Given the age and presumably quite heavy weight of the vehicle, I'd say that's about right.
