The running cost rate for a 1.8 - 2.0 litre vehicle is 64.2c per km. However this is based on a vehicle at the 3rd year of age where depreciation is the biggest component. On an old vehicle, it has depreciated significantly, therefore the true running cost would probably be in the order of about 40c per km.
The "reimbursement" rate you refer to comes down to a negotiation between the two parties.
