Hi, can you let me know what the rate is for a BMW M3 please?
Cheers
The age of the vehicle will have a significant impact on the running costs, as will the engine capacity, therefore a 2010 4.4 litre E92 M3 will be significantly more than a 1990 2.3 litre E30 M3. The E36 and E46 models would also be much lower than the 2010 car. This is mainly due to high depreciation on the newer car, which impacts heavily on the running cost.
Assuming it's the 3 year old model, the running cost would be $1.07 per km. An older car is hard to work out exactly, but could be as little as perhaps 40c per km.
Having said all that, we don't dictate employer/employee negotiations. We provide the data and it is between the parties to negotiate a reasonable rate between themselves.
Sorry, I should have stated the year and model. My M3 is a late 2011 current model 4 litre E93.
OK, so that's $1.07 per km.
