Forum Fuel and economy Mazda 2.3lt Engine Octane Rating

Hello. I am considering buying a 2006 Mazda Atenza wagon. Most appear to have the 2300cc engine which I have heard needs 95 octane to run. Any idea if this is correct? Or will 91 be Ok? Thanks.

This vehicle needs to run on a minimum 95 octane fuel.
