I have just brought a 2006 toyota vitz, 1500cc. I was just wondering what fuel i should be using as i am very unsure and keep getting different recomendations. Also are you able to explain the difference between a higher grade of fuel to say, 91?

Your Vitz is designed to run on 91. The reason some people may be advising you to run on 95 0r 98 octane fuel is that a car will go a little further on higher octane fuel. However, we have carried out testing and found that despite travelling slightly further, the extra cost negates the advantage, so the most economical fuel to use is the one recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, which in this case is 91.
