I have a 1997 mitsubishi mirage Asti-V 1300cc, it has been running on 91 octane but I have been told it would be better on 95 is this true?

You will get slightly better fuel economy using the higher 95 octane fuel but you will also be paying more for the fuel. With this in mind, financially you will be better off using the manufacturers recommended 91 octane fuel.
