Forum Fuel and economy 2007 Nissan Vanette VX 1.8 petrol Fuel type

There is a red sticker on the fuel cap with Japaneses translated as "Petrol".
Does that mean I have to use high octane like 95 to match the red color? Thanks.

Yes, you have interperated this correctly. Red equates to 95, Green to 91.
