What is a fair amount to be reimbursed for using my car for work? I use it most days for distances that vary from 10- 150 km. I know they do not want to pay what is on the IRD website (74c/km) and were thinking of 20c/km.

The IRD rate is an average of the AA operating costs and for the vehicle you have we would say around 79.1cents/km would seem fair. As an AA member you can download our running costs which has a breakdown of the costs. Follow this link and log in to download the running costs. You need to negotiate a fair amount from your employer.
