GDC1975

HI there - we are looking to upgrade from our 2000 Toyota Carib now that the kids are getting older and wanting something fun to drive while still not to uneconomic and looking for ideas.

Probably spend around $15k on the car and at the moment are keen to look at a Mazda 3 (probably SP23) and wondering if anyone has any feedback on these and also what other cars might fit into the fun category.

FYI it is pretty much just my wife and my 10 year old son that are in the car these days.

Many thanks for any info

The Mazda SP23 is already a good option but you could consider VW's Polo GTI or if you want something smaller Suzuki's Swift Sport 1.6L or Mini Cooper. But I think you will find the Mazda is a good all-round package that will best match your needs. Other sport/fun cars in this price range might be restricted in loading and passenger space.
