So I just bought a car, Holden Astra '98 1.5L manual and I'm wanting to know roughly how many km's I will get out of a full tank (50L) or just under.

Cheers

From information available to us, the Astra was available with a 1.6 and 1.8 litre engine, not a 1.5, however, fuel consumptions won't vary much between these engine capacities.
Listings available to us suggest approximately 7.5 litres per 100 km is around the average fuel consumption for the Astra. On that basis, and if your car has a 50 litre tank, you will travel 666km on a tankful.
However, in real world driving conditions, you may not achieve 7.5L/100km, so be prepared to get a bit less. For example, if much of your driving is in urban trafic conditions, you may only get 10L/100km, which would bring your distance travelled on a tankful fown to 500km.
