what fuel consumption should I expect for a bmw x5 diesel 4.0d

This engine is fitted with twin turbo's so fuel consumption could fluctuate depending on how the vehicle is driven.

We were unable to easily find the claimed figure for this model however, BMW are claiming 7.4l/100km for the 30d engine.

An educated guess would suggest between 7.5 and 10l/100km could be achieved depending on loads and the environment the vehicle is been driven in.

A lot of cold and short trips could easily blow that figure out to over 10l/100km.
