I have this jeep which I really like but it is a 4 litre petrol motor 960000 km's.
Still quite a young motor but retail value of car only $3,000.
I only use it occasionally but what can I do to minimize petrol usage when I do use it?

Try to keep short and cold running to a minimum (combine chores as much as you can), drive smoothly (throttle control) and keep regular checks on tyre pressures.
