I was wondering about the fuel consumption of my 97 Isuzu Bighorn 3.2 petrol. I'm currently putting in $50.00 of fuel and getting about 150 km's. Does this seem about right? What octane do you recommend for this vehicle?

The Bighorn isn't renowned for its economy, but by my calculations your figures would equate to approx 16.6 litres per 100km which seems high. The government fuelsaver web site suggests the 3.4 (later model) Bighorn should average 13.5 L/100kms.
If your driving is mainly stop / start (around town), running it may be about right but if it is open road cruising then it sounds excessive. If you consider your driving style to be smooth and economical then you may have an issue with the engine tune or transmission operation.
It will become a very hard vehicle to sell with many buyers looking for a diesel option.
91 octane should be fine for this model.
