Hi how often do I need to put coolant in my Toyota blade 2007 ? I’ve been topping up with water is coolant very important?

1/ Coolant/antifreeze is very important as it keeps the cooling system running at the desired temperatures for efficiency and protects against corrosion of the cooling system components, plus it can prevent the system from freezing in extreme cold. It does have a defined replacement interval and system concentration based on climate and the type of coolant used-(long-life etc)
2/ Your cooling system is designed to be self contained (and the level always within the high and low indicators on the reservoir) and shouldn't need topping up, so it is recommended to have the system checked for leaks.
