What are the running costs of a 1989 land cruiser lx 3400 cc deisel, per km?

The older vehicles are very hard to calculate an average running cost for because of the unknowns around potential repair costs. The other factor is the depreciation with a vehicle of this age.

As an educated guess, I would say around 70 cents per km to be pretty close to the mark for your vehicle. This includes both fixed and ongoing running costs.

If it helps the IRD have a flat reimbursement rate of 74 cents per km regardless of engine size or fuel type.
