Hi there,
I have recently purchased 2008 BMW 116i. There was no info on petrol so I put 91 just after I bought it. I am wondering whether I should continue putting 91 or use 95 instead? Thanks.

Hi there,
The specs I can see state 91 octane fuel usage recommended.

Are those fuel specs the same for the 2010 model of the 116i? Noticing a tremor/shake on a newly purchased import when the car is idling. The dealer said it is attributed to the fuel and has checked the spark plugs and air filter.

Hi there,
Our vehicle specs source (Redbook) lists 91 octane fuel for this car too.
