I have been using BP Whenuapai. As a regular AA Smartfuel user I fill $40 at a time. I use the BP App to purchase in car. When dispensing the petrol I "lock" the trigger whilst the nozzle is filling the tank.
Usually, when the amount reaches about $38.50 the flows slows and the charge amount gradually rises until $40 is reached.
The last two times I have visited, when the amount has reached say $39.25 the petrol pump has displayed "No Flow - replace nozzle" (or similar) whilst the cost continues to rise until $40.00 is reached. I haven't in either case taken the nozzle out.
So, my question is...are these pumps under-dispensing?
It does sound unusual, I would raise the issue with the manager at the service station, and if you are still unable to resolve the issue you could contact BP to investigate further.
