I have a 2009 BMW120i.
I read somewhere that BMW says 91RON is minimum & 95 RON the recommended fuel grade for this car, but am not sure if this info is correct/wrong.
Since my car is a Japanese import, I cannot understand what it says on the fuel cap.
I have been using 95RON till now. I do not push my car much, so I am ok to accept any loss of power due to 91RON, but only as long as it doesn't cause any damage.

So is it ok to put 91 RON in this car, or only 95 RON or higher?

Hi there,
The closest year I can find specs for this vehicle is the 2010 model showing 91 octane fuel usage. If in doubt speak with a BMW dealer.
