Hi AA,

Just want to ask, with regards to my 2007 Mazda MVP, is it totally okay to use 91 petrol for it? When I bought it last August I used 95. However, reading some discussions, 91 can be fine. My dealer is Japanese, and even he said that 91 can be used.

Just want to also here from your technical response if 91 can perfectly be fine?

Hi there,
Fuel specs for Japanese vehicles are very hard to come by which is why most dealers suggest 95 octane. We have found that most Japanese imports can use 91 octane fuel unless turbocharged. However it is best to speak to the vehicle manufacturer in order to double check to remove any doubt.
