Hi AA expert,

I have a 2010 Mazda MPV (non-turbo). I learnt from a website that this car uses a Mazda L3-series (MZR) engine and the compression ratio of this engine is 9.7:1 or 10.6:1. Could you suggest that which kind petrol should be used in this car, 91 or 95?

Hi there,
The information I can find suggests the MZR series engine recommends the use of 95 octane fuel.
