Hi. I normally run my Presage on 91, but have enough smartfuel points for 50 litres of free 98. Is there any harm in using a higher octane fuel than usual? If not, is it better to get maximum bang for buck by not mixing with 91 - ie run it empty, fill up with 98, run it empty again - or am i being pedantic.

Hi there,
You can mix this fuel with no problems, the jump in octane rating may have very little effect in the running of this type of car, certainly would be no harm that we're aware of.
