Hi,
I need to purchase a small vehicle for travelling the 60km round trip to my office. I have about $10k to spend and need something reliable, fuel efficient, has reasonable running costs and mileage around the 80K mark. I’ve been looking at vehicles such as Ford Focus and Mazda Alekia but they appear to be worth quite a bit for the mileage. I’ve also looked at the BMW 120 hatchbacks which seem to be around the same cost (perhaps even lower for a similar mileage) and more fuel efficient. Given my criteria, what vehicles should I be considering? Thanks very much

Hi there,
some models that come to mind that fit the description are: VW Polo or Golf, Toyota Yaris (NZ new) Toyota Vitz (import), Mazda Demio (import) Mazda 2 (NZ new), and Suzuki Swift.
These are all fuel efficient and reliable small cars that are quite popular with year of manufacture 2011-upwards with under 80k on the clock.
