the orange trouble light has come on at times , my local garage via computer says it electrical & probably one or more of the 4 coils ,they have put one new one in & will keep putting that one in from 1 to 4 as the trouble light comes on again & hope to find the faulty coil this way , are we on the right track ? its a 2007 model with the 2,4 engine , thanks

Hi there,
This is one way of doing it, however it might be more cost effective to have all the coils tested and find the faulty one/ ones right away.
The engine check light should point directly to the area that is faulting, if the code is due to a misfire then it could be a number of problems and really needs to be checked out to find a solid diagnosis.
