Hi, I had 2 back brake pads replaced on my car and got invoice for $795 which seems very high too me

Hi there,
This does sound high, unless the car is a performance car with large Brembo or similar brakes like a Subaru STI. Pads alone are at least $500.
I would ask for an itemised account which will give an indication as to what was carried out.
Did the job require new brake discs, new fluid, and brake bleed? All these could add up to an expensive repair bill.
