Hi iv only had my daihatsu terios on finance for a year now and iv incurred several problems over this time. First it needed a sensor replacement then there was a hole in the exhaust and when we' re driving 100km/ph the revs are so high it sounds like it's gonna blow and now the brake system needs replacing thanks to a neglected warped rotary. I just want to give back this car but do I have a leg a to stand on? I'm not really good with paper work as I don't know how to read that's why my partner is writing this for me. I feel iv been ripped off and got myself a lemon. And now The car dealership doesn't want to know me.What should I do? It's gonna cost alot for the brakes cause apparently they can't find my brakes here in New Zealand.i neglected to service my car so I'm not covered. Which I think is stupid. But I'm the stupid one for not reading my obligations. I'm not made of money and now if I drive my car anymore I'm causing more damage so I can't get to work to pay for it. Lol. So please any advice would be appreciated. And another thing how much does it cost to replace, callipers, brake pads, rotary discs and a cv boot with labour? Thank u

Hi there,
The Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) covers vehicle defects that you would generally not expect after a vehicle purchase taking consideration of the condition, age and mileage.
The problems you are describing seem more wear and tear/ items that might have been picked up earlier if you carried out regular servicing.
So I don't think you have any dealer come-back at this stage.
The price of the items you need will depend on parts availability, you would be best to call an AA Auto centre or authorised repairer close to you for some quotes for your exact vehicle. http://locations.aa.co.nz/aa-approved-repairers
