Thanks Cade for all your great advice. I'm maybe be leaning now towards a 2007 car (under 10 years ) Madza Alexa or a Corolla 1.8 - 2.0 L try and get the lowest Km's for under $10,0000. If not then its the 2004 private sale car.
Just my Last question - with the Madza Alexa - Much difference between the 1.5 & 2.0L models ?

Hi Lisa,
There doesn't appear to be a lot of difference between the two, it would just be that the larger engine would have more power and give better open road driving on long journeys with the car loaded up.
Round town the 1.5 would be better on fuel.
