We have a 2013 Hyundai i20 which has done 37,000km, and is out of its original 3 year warranty. The engine has two leaks from the rear of the engine, one a green liquid, presumably coolant and the other looks like engine oil. The garage floor where it is normally parked has a collection of drip spots from each source, so the leaks are not large.
Is it normal for a car of this age, brand and model to have such leaks? (my Mazda 6 at 120,000km has none).
I will be taking it in to the agent shortly, and I am thinking that it would be a warranty situation under the Consumer guarantees act, but I would like your opinion first please.
many thanks.

Hi there,
It would depend on the cause of the faults once inspected.
But generally speaking, it would not be "normal" for a vehicle of this age and mileage to experience leakage.
