I am looking at buying a 2005 Ford Fiesta have not yet had an AA test completed, just want to know if I should be aware of any shortfall mechanical (or otherwise) known regarding this particular model. Has done 81,000 kilometres.

Hi there, I'm not aware of any inherent issues with these vehicles. But just be aware that some European cars seem to have electrical problems the older they get. This can be ecu, or engine sensors to switches and electrical units.
But definitely get the vehicle inspected, and make sure everything works before you buy.
