Hi the front tyres of my Funcargo will need replacing soon and have less tread than the back pair. What are the benefits of getting 4 new tyres when some life in exist back tyres? I am considering changing from Michelin Energy XM1 to Continental ContiEco Contact 5 for good safety and fuel efficiency, does this impact changing only 2 for now, due to finances?
I know to get all tyres balanced and wheels aligned. Any other things I need to be aware of?

There is no desperate need to replace all four at once, especially if you only need two.
Your remaining tyres are good quality, so no issue there. I recommend a wheel alignment at the same time to ensure you get the maximum life out of your new tyres.
