Hi, the engine warning light on our 2007 Mazda Premacy came on last week. We took it to the local garage - they checked it out and said that two of the engine sensors were faulty (the oxygen sensor and air fuel ratio sensor). They've quoted us just under $900 (including installation) for replacement genuine Mazda sensors to be shipped from Japan. I just wanted to check whether this price seemed to be in the right ballpark before we give them the go-ahead because it seemed quite a lot of money just for two sensors. Car runs fine but the garage said if we don't get them fixed it will use excess fuel and run rich or lean. Thanks! Jon

Hi there, this does sound right. Genuine sensors are pricey but are usually the best option. It is common for a genuine O2 sensor to be priced around $600.
