We have a Kia Cerato, which lately we have noticed a burning rubber smell coming form the back left wheel arch, which is near the muffler.
The more we drive the more noticeable the smell is.
The tyre doesn't seem hot to touch, its hard to tell with the muffler heat where the issue maybe .

Hi Alan,
It is possible that a plastic bag may have blown under the car and stuck on the exhaust somewhere, or there is something touching or contaminating the exhaust.
Take it to an inspection centre for a quick look to make sure there is no serious problems starting to happen.
