Hi I'm removing the Crank belt pulley to replace the front seal before renewing timing belt
The car is a Saab 1994 Series 2 with the V 6 engine Reg is BUF920.
Question is. Is the retaining bolt Right or Left hand thread? I have other vehicle hand books but they do not say whether R or L.
I did the belt on a Mitsubishi Diamante some years ago and thinking back, Was Left hand but cannot be sure. The bolt is very tight I'm worried I might do damage.

Hi there, the only vehicles I know that have Lh thread are Hondas, not too familiar with Saab unfortunately. It will be a very tight bolt, and sometimes may need a shock to undo.
Sometimes we would have to get a large air impact gun to undo the pulley bolt. The engine rotates clockwise so I would expect the pulley bolt to be the normal Rh thread.
