My car makes a noise when taking sharp turns. It is a screeching noise coming from the tyres and I guess it is due to the friction between the tyres and the concrete floor of my garage. I would like to know what is actually causing this and how to get it fixed.

Hi there, this is exactly what is happening by the sounds of it. It is a result of the soft rubber tyres sliding over the concrete floor. It is not really a fault that can be remedied, I park inside a concrete car park building at work and drive a different new car every week, they all do it when turning in the car park.

Thank you for your feedback. It is comforting to know that it is not a fault with the car. The screeching noise that I hear can get worse on some days than the other and therefore I was wondering whether it is something to do with the wheel alignment. However, after reading your feedback I realize that it is happening due an external factor and therefore would leave it at that. Thank you.
