My car is a 2004 Toyota Runx and is making a rattling noise on startup does the chain need replacing it has done a 104000 ks?

This could be caused by a few things. I recommend getting it checked before jumping to this. It could also be a drive belt tensioner, noisey hydraulic lifters, or a chain tensioner.
The chain shouldn't need replacement just yet, however it's not to say it has worn prematurely. The car may even just need a service, oil check or topup at the minimum.
