I purchased a Honda Fit 2005 from a dealer in June this year based on a very good report received from AA pre-inspection service. The car had done only 48,000km when I purchased it. The car is running well and I am happy with my purchase. However, what I notice is, if I have to stop the car at a slightly uphill part of the road, I feel that the car is trying to drift backwards slightly on take -off unless I change my foot from the brakes to the accelerator really fast. This car got automatic transmission and the automatic cars which I owned previously didn't behave like that. Therefore I was concerned about it and spoke to the sales rep I bought the car from. He informed me that he took two similar cars from his yard on a test drive and they both do the same thing. He was under the impression that it is common to this model. I would like to get your expert opinion on this.
