On a WOF report, i saw the tyre tread depth of all the four tyres to be
stated as 7mm depth & the brake reading to be 96%.
What does that mean in lay man terms, are the tyres/brakes in good condition?
What is the minimum & maximum tyre depth measurement ranges.
Appreciate your reply. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
7mm tyre tread depth is very good, 1.5mm is the minimum for a wof pass.
Brake reading measurements can vary on the method used.
This reading looks like an overall brake efficiency of 96% which is a good reading.
