I have purchased an AA appraised Japanese imported 2005 Toyota Corolla Allex XS150 with 46500 km on the clock. The vehicles tyres are Falken 205 45ZR17 88W. Are these suitable for NZ road conditions. What pressure should I be using for them.

Hi there,
Yes these tyres are fine for NZ roads. I would put 34-36 psi in the front and 32-34 in the rear. If the ride is a bit bumpy, then drop them 2 psi to suit.
The W is a speed rating which is rated to over 200kmh which is more than enough for NZ
roads.
